What are the
108 Divya Desams?

The Divya Desams are 108 sacred temples of Lord Vishnu revered in the ancient Tamil texts called the Nalayira Divya Prabandham, composed by the twelve Alvars between 5th-9th centuries. These temples represent the pinnacle of Vaishnava devotion where the infinite touched the earth, channeled forever by the Alvars.

The Divya Desamulu at the Statue of Equality refers to a collection of replicas or representations of the 108 Divya Desams, which are sacred temples revered by followers of Sri Vaishnavism, a tradition within Hinduism. These temples are dedicated to Lord Vishnu and are spread across various regions of South India.

Nice place, has 108 temples inside, named as 108 equality Divya desam, a big statue of ideal guru who first allowed equality rights and allowed lower cast to worship. Inaugurated by prime minister Modi, very calm, meditating place.
