1:1 model construction of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya is 80% complete. Casting of the Deity has begun and is in progress. Body part casting is also in progress. Lotus and elephants casting is complete.

Madhusudhan Satya Manohar  donated  his first salary of Rs.21,300 /- (rupees twenty one thousand three hundred only) for the Statue of Equality. I work at IBM Chennai. And Shared his feeling by doing this

1:1 model construction of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya is under progress. More than 50% of it is complete and casting of the deity  has begun. Manufacturing of the other part of deity is 80% complete. 1:1 model manufacturing of the lotus is complete.  36 elephants and the ring behind them is completed and will be shipped to India next month.

Bhagawad Ramanujacharya is gracing the Himalayas to bless everyone from the hilltops on the occasion of Sahasrabdi. HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji will be consecrating the deity of Acharya in September. The construction of peetam of Sri Ramanujacharya was completed by July 27th and is on its way to Badarinath.  The truck sent by BAKASS team was loaded from Tirupathi after thorough inspection of the assembly by the architect. BAKASS welcomes everyone to come to Badrinath in September Register and get the blessings of Ramanujacharya Swamy.

1:1 model construction of Bhagavad Ramanujacharya is under progress. More than 50% of it is complete and casting of the deity  has begun. Manufacturing of the other part of deity is 50% complete. 1:1 model manufacturing of the lotus is 75% complete.  Casting of the lotus is in progress. 36 elephants and the ring behind them is completed and will be shipped to India next month.

Today HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji met Honourable Prime Minister  Narendra Modi Ji  in New Delhi along with Dr. Rameswar Rao and Chintala Ramachandra Reddy and extended invitation to participate in Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi celebrations and Samatha Snanam (holy bath during Krushna pushkaram)

 

 

His Holiness Sri Sri Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji met with Hon’ble Prime Minister with the following agenda:

  • To invite honorable Prime Minister Modi ji for  Statue of Equality inauguration next year in November
  • Invite Modi ji to Samatha Snanam being conducted during Krishna Pushkaras on Aug 19th, 2016
1. Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Celebrations
Giving an introduction about the Statue of Equality project to the PM, HH Swamiji showed the walk-thru of the project. Also, to commemorate the millennium birth celebrations of Ramanujacharya, HH Swamiji proposed  the following:
 
a.Name the national high road between Delhi and Kashmir after Bhagavad Ramanuja as  ‘Ramanujacharya National Highway’.
 
Bhagavad Ramanuja went to the library ‘Saraswathi Bhandar’ in Kashmir to read Bhodhayana’s commentary on Bramha Suthras and authored the commentary on Brahma Suthras.  This text also served as an inspiration and foundation for writing other philosophical texts during his lifetime. Goddess Sarawasti was so impressed with Ramanuja’s knowledge that She gave him a title of ‘ Bhashyakara’  and gifted him a small idol of Lord Hayagriva. After that, He revolutionized the world with Bhakthi Movement.
 
With this background about Ramanuja’s travel to Kashmir from Delhi, His Holiness put forth the proposal to honorable Prime Minister to name the National Highway from Delhi to Kashmir after  Ramanujacharya and call it ‘Ramanujacharya National Highway’.
 
b. Release a coin of Rs. 1000
 
c. Attend the inauguration of Statue of Equality which might be in November 2017
 
 
2. Samatha Snanam
 
Ramanujacharya Swamy was really moved by the neglected and downtrodden people, strived for EQUALITY and brought them into the mainstream of the society. With these actions, the compassionate nature of Ramanujacharya was experienced by the whole world. He gifted the society with the perspective on how to live harmoniously. The lineage of these people who were influenced and followed Ramanujacharya continue to preserve and practice the Vaishnava philosophy even till today, including in naming their children.  This commitment is still continuing irrespective of various influences that continue to allure them away from the path of Vedic culture. By encouraging them more we can build their confidence to grow further since they are still at a low standard of living.
 
Hence HH Swamiji is planning a Samatha Snanam program – a holy dip in the Krishna river during pushkaras to provide them moral support on August 19th, 2016. The program will start off with a Sankalpam from 6 am to 7 am. From 10 am various elders will give them messages lasting till 5 pm. About 1 lakh people are expected to participate.
 
HH Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji invited the Honorable Prime Minister to attend the program and said that “We are not aware of any protocol that needs to be followed but would like Prime Minister’s presence as it will be a huge morale and confidence booster to the people.”  Prime Minister Modiji was very pleased with the intent of the program. Modi ji replied that there are two types of leaders one who follow protocol and others who just follow the right “call”. He jovially said that he belonged to the second category.
 
Modi ji also enquired with interest about Bhagavad Ramanuja’s history and how he drove positive changes in the society including the Goshtipurna incident. He also asked if people of other religious beliefs will accept this philosophy.  Swamiji conveyed the story of how Ramanujacharya Swamy at Melkote, Karnataka gave status to Bibi Nachiyar, a Muslim girl on par with Mother Lakshmi, and are offering prayers to her. Ramanujacharya believed in giving respect to people based on their knowledge and practices and not based on their birth or religion they were born into.
 
Thus concluded the 40 minutes meeting with Modi ji. He spent about 40 minutes with His Holiness discussing all these facts and was really engaged and interested in the discussion though the allocated time originally was just 15 minutes !!!

Model construction of Ramanuja deity is in progress. 50% of lotus is complete. Casting of circle ring behind the 36 elephants is complete. Casting of 36 elephants is also completed and welding, polishing is in progress. The lotus casting is underway.
