The Sound of OM and Sculpting

It is said that the sound of O:M governs the entire existence. It is a compassionate act solely aimed at elevating one who truly desires to unite with O:M, the representing sound of God. How it happens is something that gurus reveal to a true seeker.

A:gama sa:sthra (science of temples) and silpa sa:sthra (science of arts and crafts) declare that the stone that produces O:M sound is eligible for deity sculpting. The stone that produces the sound of O:M is called purusha sila.

Therefore, such sculptures are declared eligible for consecration. Such unique qualities are not only defined for stone, but also in the securing of the soil, wood, gold, silver, copper, brass used in the inspiration centers.

With the divine sankalpa of Sri Sri Sri Tridandi Chinna Srimannarayana Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji, the inauguration ceremony of Statue of Equality, Bhagavad Ramanuja will take place with great glory from 2-02-2022 to 14-02-2022.

We are celebrating this 1000 years festivity with 1035 kunda Sri Lakshmi: Na:ra:yana maha: ya:ga. This maha: yajna is an opportunity to all the devotees belonging Sri Vaishnava families for taking part as an overseer, chant manthras as ho:tha, priests and more.

If you already have experience in such yajna, please fill the form and submit it. There is also an opportunity to get trained either through online class or in person class, and then take part in the yajna. Upon examining the desire and the qualifications, we will be able to get you registered for training. Accordingly, please complete the form at the latest by 10-12-2021. The classes will begin on
8-12-2021. More details will be shared with you after you send the completed form.

We will need to be following the below rules without fail

  • You must reach Divya Saketham premises two days before the ya:ga
  • You must be prepared to stay at the accommodation provided near the ya:ga bhu:mi by carrying with you all your essentials for all the 12 days.
  • Whoever is nominated to be upadrasta, ho:tha or ruthwik will need to be completely aware of the event.
  • Whoever is taking part in the pa:ra:yana, you must have complete authority over the scriptures.
  • You must carry any medication that you need.
  • You must follow the protocols throughout the event, including when there are VIPS
  • You cannot use the mobile phone during ya:ga.

Invitation to the President and the Vice-President of India

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji invited the President of India, Honourable Sri Ram Nath Kovind for the auspicious inauguration event of Statue of Equality, Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi Samaroham. The meeting was at 11:30am in Rashtrapathi Bhavan today. The President conveyed heart-felt gratitude for receiving the invitation. He said that the 216-foot-high Ramanuja, the Statue of Equality and the 108 Centres of Inspiration are a mark of pride to the nation and to the entire mankind.

Swamiji walked him through the details. He expressed that it is very fortunate that a great yogi like Swamiji is giving us all the gift of extremely valuable source of knowledge and inspiration.

Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji graciously accepted the invite and conveyed that he considers it to be an honour to take part in the inauguration ceremony. While the exact date is not confirmed, he has confirmed that he would be attending it on one of the 13 days. The inauguration ceremony is set to take place from 2nd February to 14th February 2022.

  mud is procured and prepared as a thin layer
  it is first beaten to soften, then mixed with water and filtered using thin cloth to eliminate unwanted hard content, and further powdered to dust
  the approved honey-based wax models from step 1 are then covered in a thin layer by this specially prepared mud
  they are then stored in shade
  this process repeated for 14 days, forming 14 such thin layers on the honey-based wax models

  after 14 days, the layered wax models are heated with fire sparks from burning charcoal 
  the wax melts and the mud layers are hardened because of the heat
  the desired moulds of the deities are now ready

  necessary quantities of five metals: copper, brass, gold, silver, tin are procured to make panchalo:ha deities
  a mud-based vessel is gradually heated to 1000 degrees centigrade at which copper melts; the rest of the metals melt at lower temperatures
  the resulting fluid of the five metals is poured into the pre-heated mud moulds uniformly

  in-house sthapathy team, design team performs a quick check 
  the panchalo:ha deities are now ready for Swamiji’s final approval the deities are then ready for the next step during the consecration event of a temple

The entire process requires extremely intricate work of a sculptor coupled with skilled craftsmanship on metal-work. This work has begun in Kumbhakonam and Thirupathi in the early stages. It has been shifted to onsite at Statue of Equality premises. The entire team are currently residing at the premises to accommodate easy guidance, follow up and togetherness of each working member in this beautiful centre in making.
