The Divya Desams are 108 sacred temples of Lord Vishnu reveredin the ancient Tamil texts called theNalayira Divya Prabandham,composed by the twelve Alvars between 5th-9th centuries. These temples represent the pinnacle of Vaishnava devotion where the infinite touched the earth, channeled forever by the Alvars.
