When making a promise, people tend to use nature as a witness to strengthen their vow for the sake of the beneficiaries so that they do not stay in false belief. For example, I swear with Mother Earth as the witness or the fire as the witness..! Lord also pledged using natural elements as witness to put an end to a debate with a stubborn che:thana, sentient being. Let’s see what the debate is about!

The priests of the temple, the scholars and a few devotees who went along with Swamiji had tears looking at the obedience and humility in HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji when submitting the prayers to Ramanuja and Adi Kesava Swami at Sri Perumbadur.

From their words… “Everyone stood by Rama not because He was supreme, but because of His heart-drenching conduct with everyone – righteous yet practical, enchanting beauty and mystical energy, treasure trove of wisdom yet graciously accessible.

Having Swamiji’s divine form and conduct in our heart is equal to possessing God, Sri Ramachandra Himself with us!”

The Sound of OM and Sculpting

It is said that the sound of O:M governs the entire existence. It is a compassionate act solely aimed at elevating one who truly desires to unite with O:M, the representing sound of God. How it happens is something that gurus reveal to a true seeker.

[/et_pb_text][et_pb_text _builder_version=”4.9.4″ _module_preset=”default” text_orientation=”justified”]

A:gama sa:sthra (science of temples) and silpa sa:sthra (science of arts and crafts) declare that the stone that produces O:M sound is eligible for deity sculpting. The stone that produces the sound of O:M is called purusha sila.

Silpa sa:sthra recommends that the prime deities are sculpted using purusha sila as one of the means to invoke the seekers with the divine sound of O:M. Therefore, such sculptures are declared eligible for consecration. Such unique qualities are not only defined for stone, but also in the securing of the soil, wood, gold, silver, copper, brass used in the inspiration centers.

At the Statue of Equality, magnificent efforts were put in to procure the right type of stone. They were secured from Valaja in Tamil Nadu. The prime deities in the 108 sanctum sanctorum-s are specially sculpted only with purusha sila. Efficient and focused sculptors from Thirupathi, Mahabalipuram, Karaikudi and Aallagadda had immersed themselves in completing the sculpting work of all the prime deities ready for consecration.

Join the Inauguration event of the absolutely stunning and extraordinary The Statue of Equality from Feb 2nd to Feb 14th, 2022. Unite yourself with O:M and spread the glory of true Equality defined in Ve:das and propagated by Bhagavad Ramanujacharya.

Human body is a mobile temple (moving mandir) because of the presence of God within the body, keeping us active and alive. When you realise and believe in this, you will keep your body in right condition by giving it the right food, adorn with beautiful thilak, and engage in good activities etc. This is what temple architecture also signifies.

While God exists everywhere, He makes Himself available in a temple with a form and a name. This encourages us in keeping the temple premises as clean and as beautiful as possible. At Statue of Equality,Ramanujacharya, a guru who showed us true form of God, is seated high in all glory. The 108 divya desams reflect the wisdom he shared with us.

The International religious fraternity congratulated Swamiji for elaborating on the core truths that can bind us all together. This entire structure, the statue along with the 108 Divya Desams (centres of inspiration) will stand as the base for right wisdom to many generations to come. Be it depleting natural resources, or rising terrorism, or deadly diseases – we are responsible for all of this. And only this great wisdom can put us all back on track.
