When making a promise, people tend to use nature as a witness to strengthen their vow for the sake of the beneficiaries so that they do not stay in false belief. For example, I swear with Mother Earth as the witness or the fire as the witness..! Lord also pledged using natural elements as witness to put an end to a debate with a stubborn che:thana, sentient being. Let’s see what the debate is about!

A temple structure primarily has Upapeetam, Adhishtanam, Paadavargam, Prastaram, Kantam, Sikharam, Sthupi. The Kantam, Sikharam and Sthupi together are called by the term, Vimana! If we add Karnakutam or Karnaprasadam to the three, the Vimana will become a dwithala vimana, a two-storied Vimana. The 108 Divya Desams are being built as dwithala-vimanas.

The science of arts and crafts (Silpa-sastra) and the science of temple architecture (part of agama-sastra) have given huge importance to Vimana in their texts! Silpa-sastra says Vimana relates to ‘measure’, the meaning goes deeper than physical measure. Agama-sastra mentions that one can simply bow down to the Vimana and it equals bowing down to the Deity in the temple. Our rushis and acharyas have beautiful sensitive tender hearts. Anything that is in and around the Deity is as pious as the Deity Himself because they know that one of the most accessible forms of God is Deity. Everything that is physically close to the Deity is an absolute treat to them!

The chief architect, Sriman Prasad garu along with his team visited 92 Divya Desams, studied the architecture, captured more than 12,000 photographs to make sure the sanctity and originality is maintained.

Above all, Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji’s intense love for God, transforms every step in the making of the Statue of Equality, into an inspiration in itself. His strict adherence to Vedam is apparent in every nook and corner at the site. The Statue of Equality is the actualisation of Swamiji’s vision of expressing his reverence and gratitude towards the Acharya of Acharyas, Ramanujacharya. Without using words Swamiji has taught us the lesson of a lifetime…. the importance of an Acharya in everyone’s life. The Dynamic Fountain which will serve as a way to offer water to those feet of Bhagavad Ramanuja, as a gesture of respects and thankfulness is being shaped up. The pipes required for the setup of this fountain have reached the site.

August 10th marks the target shipping date for Statue of Equality and Dynamic Foundation copper plates. We are getting closer and closer to the magnificent time ever! How inspiring it is to have Bhagavad Ramanuja, our great Acharya whose care for all those in suffering has paved way for this extraordinary monument in remembrance?

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamij visited Statue of Equality site today to watch the progress of the project in person. His radiating walk, amazing intellect and unparalleled warmth inspired all the team at multi-fold. HH looked through the Conch and Discus that are being worked on at the site. These two elements signify the strength of that Supreme power. They are a mark of identity in the Visishta advaitha philosophy propounded by Bhagavad Ramanuja carried from the acharyas of the lineage.

We are thrilled to reach this stage in the construction and invite you all to watch the site in person and become part of it.

Internal Structure of the Face On the Way to Site – Special Low Bed Trailer used for the Shipment !

We are very happy to share with all our readers that the inner support structure of the head part of Ramanuja Acharya is complete. A special low bed trailer is being used to bring the same to the site. The effort that was put in transportation of this is huge. A lac and a half was spent on this to ensure right mode of transport is used to bring it onto the site. Fabrication of arms has started and aimed to be completed soon.

On this note, let’s take a minute to think about the core strength of this project. Sri HH Chinna Jeeyar Swami is an inspiration, an visionary, and an exemplary and divine personality. His ways of working with devotees is amazing. One who comes to seek his advise gets captivated by his lotus-petal like eyes that are just two icons of love and warmth. One who comes to share their sorrow with Swamiji becomes motivated as they watch him work day-in and day-out solely for the benefit of everyone. One who comes to seek his blessings for any important event in their life goes home with so much divine strength that comes from HIS heart-felt and pure wishes. One who comes to disagree with him on an issue just turns around and begins to support him and nod his head as HH discusses the reasons with valid and highly unarguable premise.

One who knows him can go on and on in this way….

Such great acharya, our beloved HH chinnajeeyar swamiji is in the lineage of Bhagavad Ramanuja Acharya. We are so glad to share these progress news with you all about this project on Bhagavad Ramanuja Acharya. Hope you share these because this statue and this project belongs to all of us. This statue will stand as a symbol of the great virtues that are the building blocks of our livelihood. We are connected to the philosophy promoted by Bhagavad Ramanuja Acharya. 11 vehicles of finished products ready to be fixed as part of the statue
Sheet metal production of Flag pole is complete, Steel structure production is in progress
3 vehicles of finished products ready to be fixed as part of the Dynamic Fountain
Fabricating of action mechanism is in progress
10 copper plates of second level of body and 6 copper plates of foot fixed at site
Finished full welding of lotus petals of fifth level, sixth level welding of lotus petals is in progress
230 beams are erected out of a total of 240 beams in the Bhadhravedi area
7^th consignment shipped on the 27^th June, next shipment by 05^th July!

HH Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swamiji visited New Delhi to attend the Commemorative Stamp Release of Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi. During the brief meet, HH presented a book citing 30 reasons as to why Bharath has to celebrate Sri Ramanuja Sahasrabdi, written by a German author Quadrina. W. Scriptura. The book title has a beautiful picture depicting Sri Ramanujacharya’s personality where He walks back from His bath in the river putting his hand on a disciple who belonged to a backward class. The back cover depicts the image of Statue of Equality coming up in Samshabad, Hyderabad.

On the eve of Bhagavad Ramanuja Millennium Celebrations, HH Swamiji conducted a WALK FOR EQUALITY around Vijaya Keeladri in Sitanagaram on the auspicious evening of 29.4.2017. HH Sri Ramachandra Jeeyar Swamiji, HH Ashtakshari Jeeyar Swamiji, HH Ahobila Jeeyar Swamiji and HH Devanatha Ramanuja Jeeyar Swamiji participated in the walk around the hill. Vemuru M.P Smn. Nakka Anand Babu, B.C Welfare Minister and S.I.T.A Director Smn. Vijaya Raghavacharyulu also participated in this procession and received mangalasasanams of HH Swamiji. HH Swamiji offered special mangalasasanams to Smn. Satry Sri Hari, for arranging the band, folk dancers, two beautiful elephant statues on wheels and kolatam groups. The whole parade was went well with the help of Police dept. Swamiji offered hearty mangalasasanams to all the police department.

PM Modi Ji Addressed Ramanujacharya and Announced Stamps of Ramanujacharya

On Sunday 30-04-2017 our Hon’ble Prime Minister Modiji addressed the people of our Nation in his monthly radio programme. In this months edition, Modiji spoke about the importance and need to remember and recollect our culture, traditions and history of our great nation. This would keep us energised and inspire each of us. He spoke about 2017 marking Sant Ramanujacharya‘s 1000th Birth Anniversary. Modiji reminded the nation that over the period of time, we have restricted ourselves to centuries just like other countries but have forgotten that Bharath is such an ancient country, that we get a chance to celebrate in millenniums.

“Imagine a society 1000 years ago, what would have been the thinking? Even today, breaking the shackles of social rigidity is so tough. 1000 years ago it must have been even tougher. Very few people might be aware that Sant Ramanujacharya fought against social inequality, untouchability and caste system. He fought a Great War against the caste inequality, embraced the so called “untouchables” and relentlessly fought for them and successfully won them their rights to enter the temples. We are indeed very lucky that to eradicate the social evils, great men took birth in all generations. We should take inspiration from Sant Ramanujacharya for social equality and unity. The government of Bharath will be releasing a stamp on 1st May in honour and memory of Sant Ramanujacharya. I bow before Sant Ramanujacharyaji to pay my respects and tributes to Him.”- PM Modiji

Today, Ramoji Film City CEO Mr.Rajeev Jalnapurkar Garu has offered his service by having a glace at the planned focus lights in the Statue of Equality site. Rajeev Garu met Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami during a recent Homeopathy Medicine Book Release event at Ramoji Film City. He was happy to visit Sahasrabdi site and take part in the work. He brought along with him Jacob, and Engineer at Ramoji Film City to inspect the current setup.

Sri Chinna Jeeyar Swami and rest of the team together looked through the progress of the construction and the setting up of elephants around the Bhadravedi structure.
